Grab a bike and discover the seemingly endless Veluwe.
You can compose your very own cycling route on the basis of the new ANWB (a Dutch traffic organisation) cycling route network,
better known as the ‘knot network’.
This is a net of quiet paths that are joined through numbered nodes.
The systems helps you to determine your own cycling trail by following the knots. Hoenderloo has several where you can start a trail, but near the entrance of National Park the Hoge Veluwe there is a perfect spot.
On every holiday there are days that you’d like to spend shopping,
‘De Apenheul’, ‘Paleis Het Loo’ or theme park ‘Koningin Juliana Toren’
in Apeldoorn. Arnhem holds ‘Het Openlucht Museum’ and ‘Burgers Zoo’
and what about a visit to the old ‘Hanzesteden’ Zutphen or Deventer?
Somewhat further away, though within a reasonable distance,
lies the city Rhenen that holds ‘Ouwehands Dierenpark’ (another zoo) and a Field of Honour for war casualties.
These are just a few of many activities. The mentioned attractions can provide you with brochures with additional information.
We’d like to wish you a very prosperous and enjoyable visit in these splendid surroundings.
