Campsite ‘de Wildrust’ is situated in the clean and peaceful little city Hoenderloo, just minutes away from the extensive woods and heath of the Veluwe. This serene nature camp ground offers a stay at either one of the four tourist camping places or at one of the fourty-seven permanete camping places. All camp spots are sufficiently sheltered and accommodated with a private electricity supply, a private sewer connection and a private hydrant. Dogs are permitted if on a leash.

‘De Wildrust’ is very popular amongst nature lovers and seniors. For this reason, it does not provide many facilities. It does provide campers with a dish-washing facility, heated sanitary fittings and a dumping place for chemical toilets, however.

The surroundings of Hoenderloo provide numerous activities for a day out. There is the possibility of relaxing at the recreational lake Bussloo, going out for a cycling tour through National Park the Hoge Veluwe or through the nature reserves Loenermark and Delerwoud and shopping in Apeldoorn (at 13 km) or Arnhem (at 18 km).

3For a day of culture, campers are advised to pay a visit to Paleis ‘t Loo and the Openlucht Museum (Open Air Museum) or the famous Kröller-Müller museum. Hours of fun are guaranteed for children in theme park, family park Dolfinarium or the Apenheul. We have a wide variety of free brochures at our office.
